Essence of Soul is used for crafting Player Soul variants of Weapons and Armour.

If you are wearing Soul Armor, fighting Soul weapon equipped players is ineffective while fighting Dark Gaia weapon equipped players is much more effective.
A Soul weapon is 150% effective against all base elements and Moonlight mobs but only 50% effective against other players with Soul armor .
