Player Skills are skills the player can upgrade that will modify many things. The player can purchase skills, find them in the world or gain access them based on their job level.
Active Skill - Requires the player to activate this skill (default [Q] key). Only one active skill may be set at a time.
Passive Skill - Passive skills are always active. These are accessed as the player's current job meets the level requirements and can be upgraded by spending resources such as Element-X and Artifacts.

Player Skill Levels[ | ]
Each of the Player Skills enable a player to customize the way they play. Each skill starts at Level 1. To increase a skill level, it will cost varying amounts of resources (mostly element-x) up to the level cap. Note that some skills also cost additional resources.
The cost of each skill level up varies based on the skill. Some cost considerably more than others.
Job Skills[ | ]
Currently there are 7 jobs. Each job has it's own unique skills. In order to upgrade a skill, players must level that job to the level requirement of the skill. For example if you want to upgrade the Pilot skill WingSuit Speed which unlocks at level 10, you need to change your job to pilot and increase it to level 10.
